The mission of the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society is to advance and foster environmental learning, experiences, protection and appreciation to support communities that embrace and conserve our natural spaces. We do this through an extensive environmental education program that offers outdoor field-trips and in-school presentations, and currently supports children being schooled at home. We host events to encourage enjoyment of the natural world by the public, and offer opportunities to participate in citizen science programs that contribute to a better understanding and documentation of species. We engage the community in stewardship activities such as park clean-ups and invasive plant removal, to maintain the rich biodiversity of the Weaselhead and Glenmore Parks for the enjoyment and benefit of future Calgarians
